Head Coach Jason Kilderry
Jason is a USA Level 1 triathlon and track and field certified coach as well as a National Strength and Conditioning Association strength and conditioning specialist. He holds a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Rowan University and is currently pursuing two master's degrees in movement science and kinesiology. Jason is the owner of ETA Coach and is a member of the PhysFarm Coaching Consortium. He comes highly recommended by his athletes, many of whom have qualified for various championships or earned entry into races requiring qualification, including the Olympic Trials, Boston Marathon, the USA Triathlon National Championships, Half Ironman World Championships, various Ironman distance events, and the New Jersey High School Meet of Champions.

Assistant Coach Matt Ciociola
Matt Ciociola ran three years of cross country and track at Bishop Eustace Prep School in Pennsauken, NJ. Matt was the typical high school runner, having no clue what he was doing and interested in the idea of training and getting faster. After high school, Matt competed at Rider University for four years. While at Rider, Matt majored in Chemistry and it was this foundation that applied to his interest in applying science to endurance training. read more »

Welcome our new Assistant Coach Maya Hunnewell, who brings a different dimension to ETA Coach. As you’d expect, she is USA Triathlon certified, has extensive experience in triathlon specializing in long course, and her formal education is in a science-based field. But you might be surprised to learn she is a 4 time Ironman finisher and mother of 2 children under the age of 4, all in the last 7 years! Christian Whipple is a 5th grade teacher who coaches middle school soccer and youth running club. He got his first taste for triathlon back in the early 80’s watching Dave Scott win in Hawaii on ABC's Wide World of Sports. After watching the televised event, he organized a neighborhood triathlon by instructing his brother and friends on how the race worked, from transitions to the three sports involved. read more »

Registered Dietitian Michelle Ulrich, MS, RD
Michelle is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Nutritional Sciences and has a passion for food, nutrition and sports! Michelle started as a Rowan University Radio/TV/Film major, but re-routed her career to pursue her Master of Nutritional Sciences degree from San Diego State University. Michelle played college basketball and has subsequently transformed herself into a competitive endurance athlete. read more »

Swim Coach Cole Gindhart
Cole Gindhart is an ETA athlete and undergraduate student studying electrical engineering at Drexel University. Cole began swimming at age 5 years and has continued to compete every year since. For Cole, swimming is not just a sport, but a way of life. He believes that swimming is not something that comes easily to people; rather, it requires a lot of dedication and hard work to essentially reprogram your body and learn to move smoothly and efficiently through water. read more »
